I'm surprised, because you have very large houses with gardens.
I live in an apartment not very large, it is about 85m2. I live on the 4th floor 3rd door (it are 4 doors on each floor), and I live with my parents and my sister. I have no garden or garage and not a terrace, but I have a balcony where you can see the station.

For me there are seven rooms: the kitchen, two bathrooms with toilets, a dining room and four bedrooms. (Room of my parents, my sister's room, my room and an office where he yal'ordinateur.)
the morning we had no problems with the showers because in my family we rise to different hours, and sometimes if a bathroom is busy you can go to other or share. I do not spend not much time in the bathroom (the time to do my hair and brush my teeth).

I have breakfast in the kitchen, and I make my bed. I have one advantage: my room is very, very small, and save space for my bed is removable, so if I do not have time or inclination to make my bed I can only retract .

Some afternoons I go to my grandmother for lunch, but the others I have lunch in the dining room. I like it because I can eat and watch TV simultaneously. In the afternoon, after school I spend not hours bubbled on the couch because I did not have time. I have school activities or homework. I do homework in my room, and after I go into the office and I play with the computer.

the evening I dined in the dining room and I stay there to watch TV. With me there is usually no problem with that remote control, but sometimes we are angry because we have a couch and a chair and we all want to sit there because it's more convenient.
Saturday is the day I tidy and clean my room and I help my parents to remove dust, hanging washing, sweeping ...

Every day me and my sister, we empty the trash and throw the garbage, put the table and get rid of vaisselle.Je and do not clean toilets, and no longer returns.

If I won the lottery I would buy a large house near the beach. The house had a large garden, swimming pool, large rooms and a garage to store my super super car.
